Rubbish, rubbish everywhere. There is no where in Freetown that you can go to escape the mountains of rubbish that pile up every day. The city centre is being cleaned every Saturday in the run up to the Independance Celebrations (more of that next week). However the piles removed from the gutters and streets are left to fester for several days until they are collected. Despite the weekly clearing/collection the mountains of debris do not diminish in any way.

Who knows where it all comes from...

...But I certainly know where it all goes.
