This picture was taken coming back from a hospital trip to see some of our Burkitts lymphoma children on chemotherapy (more about that in a later blog). As you can see we were slightly mobbed!

National Cleanup Day
An aside. Yesterday was 'National Cleanup Day' as informed to us on Friday night. This involves the clearing and moving of the mountains of rubbish that pile up in the streets and gutters which get vaguely cleared at other times but not very well (it also means that the rubbish is left in the middle of the road ready to be collected, causing the already chaotic traffic to descend into even more chaos in the process). Now this would be an event worth bearing with if the streets stayed clean. But they won't. I'm fully expecting by the time I go out tomorrow they will be back to their normal chaotic state. TIA.
